A brief summary of what's been missed....

A VERY BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE LAST TWO YEARS LOL.....

Well, a lot has happened since I started this blog over 2 years ago. We’ve moved to bigger and better premises in Woodchester, just outside of Stroud. It seems no matter how big the workshop, it still fills up with bikes! We now have room for a separate machine shop and a small office (which of course is my domain).

So 2010 was a busy year. We attended the Isle of Wight rally and ran the dyno stall there. It was a hectic 5 days for us, but great fun all the same.

We also had a few features in Twist and Go magazine. Iggy came down to see one of the scooters we had built, took some photos and did a nice 2-page write-up on it which featured in Issue 78.

We also worked on a Typhoon for a young lad from London named Jordan. He also ended up with a 2 page spread in TAG magazine. Little did we know that we would be seeing a lot more of him over the coming months.

We began work on one particular Runner for a customer which was to become a show stopper. This super fresh example looked like it didn’t really need anything doing to it other than an engine upgrade, but the customer wanted every single part renewed and customised. The result was a stunning looking scooter with an engine to match, built to the same spec as our racing engine (more news of that to follow).

Check out the project on our website here.

2011 began with thoughts of racing, and before we knew it we’d signed up for the Straightliners drag racing series. After seeing how Jordan had handled his Typhoon when he came to collect it, he seemed like the perfect pilot and was very excited when we asked him to ride for us.

And so in March the racing began....but that’s a whole other story!

I’ll update soon J
